Part Time Firefighter Position

Firefighters employed by the Irmo Fire District protect life, property and the environment through their direct involvement in:

*        Fire Prevention                                      *        Firefighting

*        Emergency Medical Care                       *        Rescue

*        Hazardous Materials Mitigation              *        Disaster Response

*        Public Education                                   *        Community Service

All Firefighters serving the Irmo Fire District are trained professionals who provide compassionate and responsible service to the community.     

ALL APPLICANTS NEED TO PROVIDE A COPY OF THEIR CURRENT DRIVERS LICENSE WITH THE APPLICATION PACKET.

**Minimum qualifications of Firefighter 1 and at least Red Cross Emergency Responder medical certification.

Application's can be picked up at our HQ station, located at 6017 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29212.
