This is the Irmo Fire District's Northlake station. It
was put in service in August of 2003. Each shift here has 4 firefighters on
duty at all times and houses 2 engines and a brush truck. It is part of a
Lexington County Service Complex that also houses a Sheriff Department
sub-station and a Magistrate's office. The complex is located on Lincreek
Drive off of Lake Murray Blvd near the Lake Murray Dam. The county complex
that was at the corner of Harbison Blvd. and St. Andrews Rd is closed and
has been sold. Future plans show a Walgreens being built there.
